Malaysia motorcycle exportation and importaton are decreasing

According to Malaysia MITI's report, Malasia motorcycle exportation of last year is 57 thousand units which falls down by 55% from 127 thousand units last years. The reason is great motorcycle exportation growth in circumjacent country.
Motorcycle importation is also falling down from 86.9 thousand units last year to 59.84 thousand units this year. It decreases by 31.1%.
Now, there are ten vehicle manufacturers, more than 170 parts manufacturers in Malaysia. The general output of last years is 432.399 thousand units, the first quarter is 99.377 thousand units.
The majority of motorcycle market there is dominated by Japanese company ( especially Yamaha ).
Local manufacturer shares 10.1% of production and motorcycle sales.
In first quarter this year, Malaysia motorcycle sale 97.746 units foreign brand motorcycle comparing to 19.8 thousand units of local motorcycle sales.
